Have you ever had your own lemonade stand? Did you get that excited rush of adrenaline when you made your first dollar? Well that is Peter Gronkowski, but he is not stopping at a dollar, he wants to make millions. Peter lives in a cul-de-sac and always has a some type of business for him to make money. The problem is that Peter eats, sleeps, and breathes his business and learning how to be a extraordinary business entrepreneur. He doesn't have time for his family, his friends, or his school work. He is so busy that he decides that he needs an intern to do all the dirty work. This is where Rachel Chambers comes in. Rachel lives next door to Peter and no one even knows her name, no one except her best friend, Clover, and even to Clover she is sometimes overlooked. Rachel is so tired of not having a voice of her own that she decides to apply for the internship. Peter is anything but a good boss, but before she can quite, she is fired. This infuriates Rachel and she is bent on revenge. She decides to open her own business and do it better than Peter. Things soon turn very ugly in the cul-de-sac and these two will have to hit "rock" bottom before they learn that money and fame are not all it's cracked up to be. Will these two get their acts together and bring peace to Poplar Lane, or will they lose friends, fame, and money?
This is a must read book! There are times that you will laugh out loud, times you will be a little angry with these characters, and times you will want to stand up and cheer them on. I can not wait for spring of 2019 to read more from these kids of Poplar Lane!!

5 out of 5 stars!!!!!
What if you lived a happy life in Connecticut with your family and you were the top of your class at your dance studio, winning all kinds of awards? What if you found out that your dad got transferred to Florida and the closest dance studio was DanceStarz, a highly competitive dance studio? Will you fit in and be accepted by your new teammates? Well, this is exactly what happens to Harper McCoy. She is used to being the "top dog" at her dance studio in Connecticut, but when she makes the competitive dance team at DanceStarz her new teammates are not so willing to take her in. Harper learns to rely on her family and her new friend, Lily, who is also new to the team. It takes a while for this group of three girls, the Bunheads, to accept their new teammates, but they learn that they have to work together if they want to beat their rivals and former friends, Energii. All of the girls learn about friendship, deception, trust, and teamwork.
I am not a dancer and have never been associated with anything dance related so I was wary about reading this book, I just didn't think I could relate to it. Oh boy, was I wrong! This book is so much more than dance! The trials these girls go through and the friendships that they forge make this book one that I could not put down. This book got 5 out of 5 stars from me and I so hope there is a book two to continue the DanceStarz story.
